Moments
During his travels, the Big Pan Man often sees very big things, which impress him.
This page will continue to grow as he adds images of new big things.
A BIG TROWEL

The Big Pan Man spotted this big trowel in Porto, it is the work of sculptor Claes Oldenburg.
THE WORLD’S BIGGEST WHISTLE

The Acme Meteor was designed to create the world’s loudest whistle blast by being dropped from an aeroplane at 20,000 feet (modesty forbids The Big Pan Man from saying who by). Two pilot’s sitting astride it would then steer the whistle in a spiral descent. Based upon the form of a basking shark (which swims around all day with it’s gob open) the whistle would scoop in the air and emit a sound equivelant in volume to that of Concord landing. The Acme Meteor remains untested. I wonder why…..
SOME BLOKE ON A HORSE
So much for civic pride…..
THE MONUMENT TO VICTORY OVER THE FRENCH IN THE PENINSULAR WAR, IN PORTO

Yes, the tiny figure at the base of this monster is The Big Pan Man – and we thought Nelson’s column was big – awesome…..
PALLAS ATHENA

The statue of Pallas Athena in the entrance hall of the Capitol building in Havana, Cuba. Do you think she’d fit a size 18?
WORLD’S BIGGEST TRUNCHEON

The Big Pan Man spotted this in Cardiff. It’s by The Renn & Thacker Partnership and it lights up at night too.
The Big Pan Man spotted this giant mushroom in Seville on his foodie fact finding mission to Extramadura. It sits over a fantastic food market.
This what The Big Pan Man is growing in his garden this year, giant kohlrabi. Seedlings will be on sale at Alcester food festival (19/5/12) and at Bewdley Local Produce market.
