Bread Bowl

In 2007, The Big Pan Man celebrated new Year in Krakow, Poland. Over 200,000 people gathered in the city’s beautiful medieval square to witness a show whose climax featured Shakin’ Stevens and the bloke from Bony M (Ra Ra Rasputin!). The Big Pan Man does not remember much about the evening but he did remember an experience, which was to change his menu and the face of British street food forever.

Whilst the bacon, egg and sausage  soup was delicious, the bowl was dissapointing, it was too hard to eat. The Big Pan Man decided he could design a healthier edible bowl and in 2009 he asked a local baker to create a prototype slow-baked wholemeal bowl. The new bowl design was a great success.

Whilst sturdy enough to hold liquid, the new bowl was soft enough to be edible and absorbent enough to soften deliciously. The Big Pan Man has been selling soups and stews in bread bowls ever since. Try one,you wont be disappointed.
